Does anybody know where there can be calculation type questions in the PM written paper for CAIA Level 2? Or is it just full written responses in this section?
I don’t remember having to calculate anything for the written responses. It was conceptual and the main idea was to support your answer. Also, they don’t have to be long, for some I had two paragraphs, for others I had maybe 3 sentences.
I’ve heard they can, but have no concrete evidence. To state the obvious show all you working if they do.
I remembered in schweser there was a question where you had to calculate something, I think it was conditional VaR and you had show your work, so I guess it’s possible it could show up on the exam.
