I just registered for the CAIA exam in September. I purchased the “Introduction to Core Topics in Alternative Investments” as this is the only book the the CAIA requires you to buy. I was wondering if anyone knew of any site that would provide free study sessions. Or even better, where could I buy just some practice exams with answers well explained?
CAIA offers a workbook a 100 question practice exam for candidates on its website.
If you are using the Core topics book for your study I would consider purchasing a question bank from one of the third party providers (Schweser or Uppermark). The Core topics book provides plenty of information and the question banks help you to focus on what is likely to be tested.
I totally believe a Qbank is necessary, uppermark is excellent, Kaplan is not bad (although i used it for level I and passed)
