I really liked the Uppermark Qbank for CAIA lvl1 and plan to use the same for Level 2 - just wondering on the free response questions where you have to write some essay. Does Uppermark analyze them or just show some kind of key point summary afterwards what you -should- have mentioned?
Yeah, they analyse the papers and test you with likely questions stemming from the material. The solutions list appropriate answers e.g. “provide any two of the following four steps of operational due diligence.” I’ve only used the TestBank software so can’t tell you about the main course material.
On the free response questions, Uppermark does not analyze the questions; you will self-score them much like the case in which the free response questions on the actual exam will be scored by human graders. Uppermark, however, will give you a scoring rubric, which is effectively the key point summary as you’ve reference, as well as a drop-down menu for each part of the question where you can score yourself in half-point increments.
The software will then aggregate your score and keep a history of your scoring performance, just like it does with the multiple choice questions.
