Hi, I would like to CAIA Level 1 exam. However, I have no prior experience in cfa exam as it looks like many CAIA candidates have sat for CFA exam before. Will it be an disadvantage to me?
Not at all.
I passed Level 1 in September and have no experience with CFA. It has also been many years since I read anything about statistics. As long as you put in the time to read/study, you’ll be fine.
I agree with jt703 feedback. Passed L1 in September, and did not do CFA either.
