Is anyone familiar with this? I’ve heard some people mention it, but it doesn’t seem very rigorous.

I’ve never seen any of our hedge fund managers or prospective managers with the CHP designation. I would say it is FAR less known than even the CAIA. I have seen many alternatives managers with either their CAIA or CFA or both designations. The CAIA and CFA have plenty of material (broadly) on hedge funds in their curriculums.
