How to start... ?

I bought Lhabitant’s and Anson’s books several weeks ago and skimmed through several chapters, but still I don’t really know what to expect from the exam and how to prepare?! any advice?

Go to the CAIA website and get: 1 - the learning objectives 2 - sample exams Reading is necessary, but definitely not sufficient.

I agree with xiaorick. Schweser is more than adequate and will save you time.

Seriously Schweser all the way. But when would it be a good time to start?

Starting before the exam date is probably a good idea.
