In order to earn the designation after passing both the L1 and L2 exams, one need to provide 2 professional references to CAIA. Do they necessary have to come from existing CAIA members or people who suppose to know you from a professional capacity?

This was answered on another thread, so apparently they just have to know you in a professional capacity. This makes a lot of sense since the CAIA pool can’t be to big at this point. There isn’t even a chapter in my city…
