Presenting Stock Ideas

I had an interview as an equity analyst. So the fund manager asked me to put together some ideas and find some stocks I could pitch him. I found some good ideas, just not really sure how to present them. Any ideas would be helpful. I have used a few different valuations to come up with a price range on what I think they are worth. Thanks.

Well, think about how you “found some good ideas” Was it a good industry dynamic and you picked the company best positioned in that industry?

Was it some expected transformational company specific event?

Don’t think you have to make it exceptionally long.

Look at a few sell-side reports for ideas on how to present research reports. I would stick to 2-3 pages and include a brief company description, detailed investment thesis, a couple catalysts that will help your thesis play out, and separate key bull case and bear case points.
