Internal Auditor

So I have no experience and have been looking for a jod all summer, cold calling, showing up at the banks etc. and all i get is rejections. I got an interview to work as an internal auditor at this company they are looking for someone with a finance/accounting backround. I was wondering do you guys think its a good move to start working as an internal auditor with the hopes into going into a front office job?

The best job offer is the one that you already have…

I interviewed for an internal audit role at MS. I think it’s a good way to get in a bank, but be mindful of the area they will assign you to. For instance, you may be assigned to an asset management group or you may be the person who has to conduct audits of HR. If it gives you exposure to an area you’re looking to get into. I’d go for it.

I think anything audit related is highly valuable experience.
