I’ve done pretty well in my IT career. I have 20 years experience and report to the CTO. Should I look to advance further in IT or try to make a switch to a Quant role or other role on the business side? My concern is taking a hit on salary. However bonus is much better and salary can rise quickly so I hear. Anyone made the switch from IT to the business late in your career?
