Interview Advice from Current/Former Financial Due Diligence (FDD) pros?

I have an upcoming interview scheduled for financial due diligence work and am soliciting any recommendations from current/former professionals. Specifically, I *do not* have an accounting background and instead am coming as only a Level III CFA candidate. What topics do you believe I should speak about in detail to alleviate any fears that they might have?

Thanks.

How many years experience do you have - is this big 4 or M&A or other?

Never saw your response. Didn’t get the job - it was M&A. They really wanted prior audit/general ledger experience since applying accounting standards seemed to be really high on their list. I came prepared to talk financial statement analysis, but it only briefly came up.

Thanks anyways!
