Asset Management in Benelux?

How is the job market over there? Can one make it without French and/or Dutch? Is it common to rely on intermediaries (think headhunters/agencies) to facilitate the connection between employers and candidates or direct approach is preferable? Who is recruiting right now (if any) – large/international players or local boutiques?

Feel free to share other useful information if I have missed something.

Thanks in advance!

You should be fine with English in Amsterdam which is the main front office centre in the region. Brussels would have a reasonable amount of decent AM jobs. Luxembourg probably more for fund admin and back office. Amsterdam is a nice city. Very good quality of life.
