Hi all, Wondering if I can get some honest advice here. I am currently an ANL in EQR, and have now run into visa issues. I am now looking to relocate back home, where research isn’t a big industry (less than 100 people in the whole country) but PE is booming while AM is very low (less than 1% of GDP is the total market cap of companies).
I have always liked investing, and ideally want to stay in a similar field but I am considering my options.

I was considering PE but everyone is telling me its super hard.

I will try for AM research roles but very hard to get with little to no career growth.
What other options I should look for?
