Janus-Henderson

Anyone know anything about this firm? I submitted an application yesterday for the firm for a position I’m very qualified for.

My quant role fell through sadly enough - but for the better.

Bill Gross works there. I also happen to know a few people on the distribution side.

Seems like an okay place to work. The people from Janus I meet up with at conferences have been there a while, so I guess that’s a good sign. Their investment performance has been all over the board. Really bounces from horrible to awesome so I think working there is a bit of a whipsaw experience for everyone.

Ultimately it depends on what type of role you’re looking to get. I’m not sure about the culture within their investment management division.

Good news: Bill Gross works there. Bad news: They hired 201x era Bill Gross.

^You either die a hero, or live long enough to become a bad portfolio manager.

Haha, I’m mopping exactly what you’re spilling.

Hahaha love this
