This seems to be a total noob question but a student friend asked me where the best place to get hold of free ER reports on are. I really don’t use 'em in my world (other than briefly looking at the broker reports on my own co which I get sent every quarter). I’d guess opening up a broker account or…? Your advises please…
Mudda- If your friend has access to a discount broker website, almost all of them offer at least a few research writeups. Alternately, if your buddies local library has a subscription to Thomsons ‘Investexts’ database, they have tons of reports in there. Just put in the company name and browse to “research reports”.
yahoo also has them for sale. go to any company ticker symbol, and click research in the left column and you can purchase a few sample reports…
