Background : experience in risk management, <30, Charterholder, 75k salary

Goal : I’d like to pursue investment analysis in a nearby city, where cost of living is 20% higher. Do I have a shot at landing a buyside position? All seem to require prior experience. What sort of salary would be reasonable? Prior posts seem to suggest 80k-100k all in. Any help is appreciated!

Mate, it all comes down to the quality of your investment ideas. You should definitely be able to clear $100K if you get a gig, but to do that you’ll have to show a real passion for markets and for investing.
