Does CFA help for money management or broker jobs?

What are your recruiting experiences? Where do CFPs have preference over CFAs? It seems like both tests are “hard” so most people in the industry have neither.

Ask the people you want to work for whether they’d prefer one over the other. CFP is easier to attain, and more geared towards retail clients. CFA is more for institutional investors and sell side research.
