Events by local society-Admission Eligibility

Hey forumites !!

I receive various mails for events conducted by local society. To attend an event conducted by local society for free, We need to be either member or candidate. I have cleared my level 2. And have not enrolled for level-3 . Am I eligible to attend the event as a candidate or will have to pay fees as a Non-Member?

Kindly clarify this doubt people.

Most of those emails usually specify fees for members (CFA charterholders) and non-members (candidates and the general public). My guess is if you’re a candidate in the program, you’d have to pay the non-member fee rate. Might just be worth sending your local society a quick email to confirm before you purchase anything.
