Can I put on my LinkedIn profile, under my name in the introduction area: “CFA Level 1 candidate”?
If I do so, am I abiding by the Code & Standards?
Yes, it’s fine. I personally put “CFA Level 1 Candidate and Love Master”, but the second part is only recommended, not required.

The section on program candidates states “Do not use your candidacy in the Heading of your profile”. Therefore I think it is not allowed 
Just make sure you can back it up with customer testimonials!
I hear finance recruiters are looking for CFA Level I candidates all the time…
