I recently completed my CA in May 2018, I want to give my CFA exam in June 2019,So for that I applied for Institute’s Scholarship which opened in mid August 2018. Now I got to know that results of scholarship will come out in first week of December 2018, but the early registration gets closed by 10th October, 2018 where I have to pay $650. .My query is unfortunately if I didn’t get qualified for scholarship I have to register for standard registration by February where I have to pay $950.If I get registered due to this contingency I will be ineligible for scholarship. What I need to do? Will institute offer any concession or any other help?
I think you need to register now to take advantage of the early bird discounted registration fees, even if you apply for the Scholarship. If your Scholarship is approved later, you should be reimbursed. But you still have time to check with CFA Institute.
