Help/Advice

Hey Everyone, Last week I took a CFAI Sample Exam and scored 71%, with weak areas in Equity, Alt. Investments, and Fixed Income. So, I revised these areas over Thanksgiving and then went ahead and took the afternoon session of CFAI Mock Exam, which completely destroyed me. Does anyone have any advice or ways in which I am able to gain exposure to questions that are similar to those on the Mock Exam? I’m scoring right around 68-75% in most sections on the Schweser Exams. Any help/advice to get me consistently in the 70’s would be much appreciated. Thanks for the help!

I did similarly, and I also scored better in the morning exam than the afternoon. The CFAI sample exams are similar to the Mock, if you want to gain more exposure. Otherwise, you can purchase the Boston Society mock for $150. It’s a good, hard test that is (IMO) much closer to the CFAI mock.

Do you have Schweser exams? I suggest going through and working on equity questions. Save a couple for actual test prep.

Robert, how do you go about buying the Boston mock?
