I am taking the Kaplan practice tests. Are the Kaplan tests harder or easier than the real thing? I have heard very mixed things and would like some insight. I am getting around 70s on the practice test.
I am not sure about Kaplan as I have not used them. I have only had experience with CFAI mocks.
Schweser is harder for me than CFAI mocks and CFAI topic tests by about 7-10%+ which I have heard are harder then the real thing. Schweser is minuet in detail while CFAI is more broad.
I found Schweser mocks to be an excellent prep for the real exam. If you’re scoring well on them, I’m sure you’ll be fine on exam day.
I agree, I’ve done 5 (three hour) mocks now, scored between 70-79 on all of them. Really not sure if this is a good indication of how the exam will go…
I found Schweser mocks harder, I myself did 2 of them and scored around 70-80%
However, make sure you run through all the topic test and CFAI mocks.

Has anyone tried Finquiz ? I did Finquiz and Schweser and found that Finquiz tests you on a microscopic level which is super frustrating. Schweser was a little more broadly based.
