Does it make sense to read both the CFIA curriculum materials and Schweser Kaplan? Or is Schweser Kaplan sufficient in covering the material? It seems redundant to do both.
Redundant in my opinion. Read Kaplan’s, but make sure you do all the blue box problems in the CFAI curriculum text as well as the end-of-chapter problems at the end of each reading. If you’re performing well in those (i.e., >70%) then the Kaplan readings are working. If you’re not, I’d suggest cherry picking those areas that you’re struggling with in each reading and refer to the CFAI material for further study. My two cents, best of luck!
