HI , can any body tell me that the economics prerequisites portion is also a part of CFA level 1 dec 2017 examination.

You mean the additional material on the CFA website? It’s there for you to understand the economics section. I don’t think it will be tested directly, but you need to know it and understand it to understand the economics which you’ll be tested on i.e. whatever is in the CFA curriculum.
