2 stage Dividend Discount Model

Is there an easier way to calculate the value of a stock via 2 stage dividend discount model on the BAII Plus or BAII Plus Professional?

I find the problem takes a long time to do by hand. I don’t believe in memorizing too many formulas anymore since many can be done quickly on the calculator and I find many of them too long/cumbersome to memorize.

I would use the CF worksheet where CF0=0 and C0i equals the dividends during the supernormal phase and C0n= the horizon price and F0n=1. N.B.: when setting the dividends, do NOT round them. Let the decimals fly!

You can use the TVM sheet to get a reasonable approximation of the horizon price by settting N=999,999 (or some other huuuuuuge number), I=r-g2, and PMT to the first dividend in the long-term growth phase. When you calculate PV, that will give you the number to plug in for C0n in the CF worksheet.
