Two tailed vs single tailed test

This is from CFAI Mock. I am not clear why the answer is −1.960 and 1.960. for a two tailed test shdnt it be for .025 significance level?

Would do you well to memorize the whole normally distributed population with known variance.

95 percent confidence intervals: Use z0.025 = 1.96

thanks. Yes memorizing will save time and anxiety.

This is 2 tailed so CI is -1.96 to +1.96

for 1 tailed it will plot at -1.65 or +1.65
