Can I register CFA level 1 exam when being a 2nd year student (out of 3-year program)?

Hello everyone,

I’m currently a 2nd year student (out of 3-year undergraduate program) and I’m planning to take the CFA level 1 exam in June 2019 (I’ll have been in final year by that time).

As of now, I really want to take the early payment for registration (before Oct 10, 2018) but I’m still in the 2nd year. My 3rd year will start in January 2019 and therefore, if I wait for being in the final year to enroll CFA program, I will have to pay higher fees.

I don’t know whether it is eligible for me to take the early payment and whether CFA Institute requires any degrees to prove my eligibility. Can anyone please help me clarify these things? I really appreciate your help.
