Is New Syllabus applicable for Dec 18

Hello everybody,

I have my CFA lvl 1 exam in Dec-2018.

Is the addition of topics valid for Dec-18 exams?

I know CFA has included crypto currency and new topics in syllabus quite a while back in May/June 18 And i assumed it would be included for newly registered candidates. I was registered for exams in Aug 17 and i have books which is valid for 2018 jun and dec attempt.

And in recent discussion with someone, i came to doubt my assumption as anyone registered even in Aug 18 can still give Dec 18 exam

Hence, Is the new syllabus appicable to Dec 18 too?

The December 2018 exam uses the 2018 curriculum, not the 2019 curriculum.

Hello-

I have Schweser notes from June 2017 exam. I could not pass and then could not pursue further. Can I use the same notes for December 2018 Level 1 exam? I will ensure to go through the additions/subtractions that CFA has made. Thanks
