How did you find the CFAI mock exams and q-bank in terms of difficulty and preparation?
Both are more difficult in my opinion. But the mocks are only slightly more difficult than the real thing.
Not sure if things changed in the last couple of years, but when I took Level I in June 2016, I remember leaving the actual exam feeling good as it was a lot easier than CFAI mocks and EOC questions.
The CFAI mocks definitely felt way harder than the actual exam, if you can get 65 on those you’ll pass
After doing several mocks from KAPLAN’S Schweser’s Notes and one CFA Institute’s mock, I noticed that afternoon session’s questions are mostly related to theoretical part, i.e. less calculations.
