Ethics question

Standard 1-D states “Members and Candidates must not engage in any professional conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, or deceit or commit any act that reflects adversely on their professional reputation, integrity, or competence.”

If you get caught stealing does that count as violating the standard? Does it matter the level of theft? Aka taking a candy bar without paying for it.

Does stealing a candy bar reflect adversely on one’s professional reputation, integrity, or competence?

My thought is yes

Well then, there you go.

(Note: such a question will not appear on the real exam.)

I wouldn’t put it past CFAI LOL

Seriously? Well I just got one mark easily.
