memorize indexes?

There were a couple of questions on the mock test, which tested our knowledge of specific indexes and their indexing method… didnt realize we had to memorize stuff like that.

mkt cap for sp500, price weighted for DJIA. DJIA revised when companys do splits, gets u new divisor. what else you see?

value line -> unweighted with geometric mean…

what about the new york stock exchange, is the market weighted? value weighted? price weighted? unweighted?

The NYSE is an exchange, not an index.
