strategies for studying at work?

i don’t feel wholly comfortable having my cfa books open during the day, but id like to still get some studying done during the workday. has anyone devised any good ‘stealth’ study techniques they’d like to share? i have all the tools id need, with full bloomberg and internet access, just need some good ideas as to outlets. thanks!

Don’t laugh, I did(still do) this all the time. “Do #2” at least 4 times a day. 15 mins a pop = an hour of studying… I used to have my print outs and fold them into my pants. If you have flashcards those are perfect.

I like the CFAI eBooks

Those are serious violations of ethics

I will be happy if I can just finish these at work. Qbank online has been a godsend!

If you have flashcards those are perfect. I’ve been considering pulling a godfather and taping Fixed Income to the back of a toilet for easy access. I hate walking into the bathroom with literature in hand.

I work in a cube and just read at my desk. my employer knows i’m studying and my work comes and goes in waves. my on job performance speaks for itself so they dont mind…they even ask me how my progress is going

Pull a Palin and just write some equations on your hand. But no too many.

I’ve started to photocopy the EOCs and solutions and do them at my desk. Scribbling away with some papers and a calculator looks perfectly normal.

CFA ebooks, the best innovation so far.

Scatter as much work papers on your desk and sneak in a peak every time you get a chance on the CFAI books. The “clutter” of work papers somehow camouflages the CFAI books. The more clutter, the better.

Asking permission to tape equations to my monitors. Without the permission I could be in violation of duties to employers. ha
