Will the exam test Multinational and Intercorporate together?

It seems to me Intercorporate investments and currency translation are both financial statement consolidation. Do you think or have you seen an item set that tests both?

As if they are not hard enough… Combining the issues in one item set would be a killer.

I’m sure CFAI knows it’s possible. It’s just that by the time I can nail down current rate / temporal translations I already forgot Equity / Acquisition method.

whats the difference if they combine it or not. you still need to know both subject matters inside out

There’s no way on earth that they’d do that.
