"The highest ethical standards"

Sup guys,

Got a doubt on this. Can a CFA charterholder state in marketing materials that as he/she is a CFA charterholder is committed to “the highest” ethical standards? Found this question on Schweser 2016 Vol 2 Exam 5 PM session Q63. I market it was a violation because the CFAI itself declares that the code and standards are not the most strict standards worldwide, but a rigorous one.

The problem comes from the answer explanation. It says is not a violation to state that the CFA charterholder is commited to “high” ethical standards.

Can someone please clarify?

I can’t make a reference to the specific standard but I also believe this is not a violation.

Thanks for the info Kroko.

Harrogath - interested in how you scored on this mock as others have found it difficult. I took it today - scored 70 AM/78.3 PM.

I also did not think this was a violation - no reference though.

And, albeit dated, I found this: http://www.analystforum.com/forums/cfa-forums/cfa-level-ii-forum/9996964

Not proud of my score, i have been decreasing my numbers. AM 70 PM 72

Thanks for the reference, I think I can rely.
