Mock Exam Weights

I know all the speculation about the exact number of questions we should expect on the exam from each topic is pretty useless, but i just had a look at the CFAI mock and was pretty surprised and scared to see derivatives accounting for whole 15% and PM for 10%.

Any idea if the mock weights are what we should expect on the exam?

Sorry to bump this up. I am still freaked out by this. I am terrible at Derivatives, despite devoting hours and hours and hours to it.

Derivatives 5% - 15% what could we say more?

The mock structure do not indicate anything concerning the weights of the real exam

anything is fair and square on D-day, you can guess all you want. if you are having troubles with derivatives like me, focus on things that are high probability of coming out in the exams. usually valuations of swaps, forwards, bond futures, option strategies.

perhaps the only absurdity is if weights deviate significantly from the ranges advertised by CFAI (things such as Equity taking 40% or FRA taking only 5%)
