I’ve run into a few qbank questions refering to FCF (free cash flow)… it seems the formula is the same as FCFF.. any reason why its sometimes called FCF? Are they indeed the same?

There are lots of definitions of free cash flow, but without qualification it probably most commonly refers to free cash flow to the firm.

Rest assured that on the real exam the type of free cash flow (e.g., FCFF or FCFE) will be made clear.
