I used Kaplan 2017 L2 books for the 2017 and the 2018 exam. I know they made some changes to the 2019 exam. Would you recommend buying the entire Kaplan 2019 set or is there just one of the five new books that I would need to purchase.
Personal opinion - if you’ve had two cracks at Level II already using Schweser and it hasn’t worked out for you then it might be time to turn to the CFAI books.
I use both actually but Kaplan for me is easier to understand. I have also come very very close to passing (still doesnt mean I passed I know) but its more of me wondering do I have to get a whole new set of materials because the course material is going to be vastly different
Do your reading from kaplan if you are comfortable with it. later go through curriculum reading to see if you have missed out any section. And try to thoroughly do practice from curriculum with blue box examples. i think it should work
