Any one from India still facing the registering problem for L2? gave L1 in india…now in US…ready to reg. for L2 …but freakkin IT systems! anyone else facing the same problem?
I don’t think that it is an IT problem. I believe that the CFA Institute will prevent anybody who was registered in India last year to present the exam this year, until an agreement is reached with Indian authorities. They don’t want to give Indian authorities the feeling that they are being circumvented by allowing candidates who were registered in India last year to present the exam this year abroad.
I faced the same problem… after exchanging 20 mails with CFAI institute… I figured out. that in my profile, home address was showing India, though I had moved to Kuwait last year… So update your profile with US address, and you should be ok!

It might sound stupid…but if 1) i give my friend’s address in US 2) pay from my credit card in India ,and 3) Choose centre as S’pore will it work?
