OK so the CTA/remeasurement gain is the total sum of translation gains/losses over the years, right? And the “Translation Effect” is the difference between the translated ending effect minus the translated beginning effect (see question 14, afternoon of the BSAS exam to see what I mean). Is this how the CFAI will refer to these things on the exam?
