I swear by P90X. Starting it up this week, as soon as I finish unpacking boxes in my new place. Bring it.

I have done it. It works. As CF_AHHH said, you have to stick to the diet to really see results. You will get stronger either way though.

Already got it, and Tony Horton will be my drill sergeant for these next few months…the fact that he’s like 50, and making me want to puke after every workout makes me hate him even more (if he’s optimism wasn’t enough). I hope i can do 1/4 of the pull-ups he can do at his age…

^ he’s about 45 in those dvds. Don’t forget they edit those videos. Ron Burgundy can do 1001 bicep curls, I hope I can do as many as him one day too.

Hows the TRX system? anyone used it before?

TRX looks good also. Doing more with bodyweight supplemented with weights, regardless of program, will increase strength and overall fitness level. # of pushups is perfectly correlated with investment performance. mwvt9 - change your business cards to mwvt9, CFAX. You deserve it bud.

I’ve been through the program, and I agree that you can see points where there are edits, but there are also points in the videos where you see him rip off 25 pullups (solid form) w/out a camera change. For a 45 year old guy, that’s pretty impressive.

I agree, and my respects to him. However, when you do this often, your body adapts to it. Try doing bicep curls everyday for a month. See how quickly you’ll be able to get up to the 60-75lbs range. Our bodies do a great job at adapting.

@mwvt9: that’s too bad. definitely better to work out with a group - especially to learn a lot of the lifts/techniques - but you could get involved with a small amount of equipment in your home. Basement, garage, etc.
