EOC Questions for Reading 14

Just did the EOC questions for Reading 14 and found that the answers provided by CFAI were very detailed and contain many many considerations. This was in vast contrast to Schweser (which I use to study). Given the time constraints in the exam for the eassy portion, am wondering, is it really necessary to give the question so much thought and include so much information in our answers? Based on feedback from this forum, it appears that the AM essay session is usually a rush with very limited amount of time for each question.

you don’t have to provide THAT much detail at all. The answer explanations provided by CFAI are almost always exhaustive. In actual exam, you only need to write to the point. I’ve seen how schweser writes “For the exam” answer details. Personally, I think those are insufficient. You wouldn’t want to write JUST “Above Average” for the risk tolerance if asked. you need to tell WHY it is above average in terms of ability/willingness to take risk.

Ok thanks…that has been helpful!!
