Your Employer and Your Role

I am just curious about where the members of L3 forum are working and what is there role in the industry. Can everybody please brief about there work experience. I am from Pune,India and working in TCS as a business analyst in a basel II project for PNC,US.I have more than 1 year of work ex.

I am working in Taipei Taiwan, as Intangible asset analyst, sometimes I get projects like start up analysis, purchase price allocation and impairment testing. 1+year of work exp. However I am thinking to apply for Big4 restructuring or TAS after/if I passed level 3

Working from Bangladesh for a US based Hedge Fund. I am a regional buy side analyst covering Asian Frontier+Emerging countries (non-BRIC). 2.5+ yrs of experience

I am a portfolio manager in Boston, MA working for a multi-family office focused on clients with assets over $25 million (average client is $100 million). 13 years of experience.

I work for a Big 4 accounting firm on the advisory side of the house. My typical clients are large national/regional banks and we help them manage their regulatory risk.

World Bank Treasury as an investment analyst…we manage the pension plan’s allocation to fixed income and commodities and also have an advisory role to central banks to help them manage some of their reserves.

I work at a bakery in Seattle, WA. I am in the the middle office helping bakers with their daunting tasks. My typical clients are middle class with unknown assets and income. My plan is to move to NY this fall and start working in the finance sector… Not sure what I can do since I have 0 experience. Maybe admin assistant?? or maybe become a baker myself. bpdulog, i saw your profile through linkedin few months back. What should I aim for in NY? I am thinking somewhere along admin assistant or operations. Not planning on becoming a baker =)
