Third time around. What are you retakers doing?

Hi. My username should be 3 on 3rd, since I am taking the third level for the third time. I passed the first two on the first try. Somehow this third level has been much more difficult to me. I was quite close this year, band 8, which I understand is very tight.

Right now I’m just reading the books, taking very good notes and studying my old memory note cards, I hope to cover the whole material as soon as possible and do practice exams.

What are you retakers doing?

I passed level 3 on my third attempt as well and I was also a band 8 the year before I passed. What I did differently was to take detailed notes based on schweser and then solve CFAI end of chapter questions, blue boxes and did 5 years worth of old exams and mocks focusing on the format of the guideline answers.

i don’t know if i have the strength to do it 3 times in a row… for the same level!
