The most important factor Jones fails to consider in emerging country analysis:

I got this correct (liquidity), but why would they list currency competitiveness as an incorrect answer, when the text book has this in the list of what to ask when analyzing emerging countries (it’s also ahead of liquidity in the list). Seems like either answer should work?

I had the same issue, i guess the key was the Balance of Payments alludes to currency competitiveness…

Yeah I guess so, very sneaky of CFAI. Currency competitiveness and balance of payments are not one and the same. Thanks though; I agree it was probably their reasoning.
