Under the Headline section on Linkedin, can I put “2017 CFA Level III Candidate.” I want to display my enrollment in the CFA program without violating any ethical standards. Or would it be better to put it under Education or Certifications?
I don’t think it’s an issue but personally, I wouldn’t. It sort of is implying that you feel it makes you superior in some manner. Which, let’s be honest, you are trying to do that. I have it in my signature at work in 8 pt font at very bottom. That’s it. We are only candidates. It means jack crap.
Don’t put your candidate status into headline, put only note in Educational section until you get chartered. It is not only opposite to CFAI guideline than it’s a silly as well.
