Study smart and I think you can knock off, quite literally, half the time most people take to pass.
2003 L1 : 7 days flat. Probably 80 hrs
2004 L2 : Failed. 7 days flat. 80 hrs
2005 L2 : 2 weeks. 120-150 hrs
2006 L3 : Just attended. The last week before exams had my Grad school exam at UChicago
2016 L3: Band 8 Fail. 8 days and around 80 hrs - no mocks
2017 L3 : Pass. Around 140-160 hrs. 4 AM mocks. 2 timed and 2 not timed. All mocks in the last week. No PM mocks.

Kinda didn’t want to risk it after the first fail so I cranked it up and got it done. Hats off to the people who do it in under 200 hours, I just refused to get another failure email. Worst day.
