Did your firm say you had to wait for any FINRA filings to use your CFA designation ? For example, business cards, email signature line. This seems odd to me.
No, mine did not. I did have to request that the CFA Institute send a feed to FINRA though so that my firm could update my registration. It didn’t delay my ability to begin using the designation on correspondence and stationary though.
It took four extra days for me. I should have called the Institute immediately regarding the data feed from the CFA Institute to FINRA.
No longer FINRA registered with a firm as of two months ago! So happy I don’t have to deal with any of that anymore.
