writing more than requested

Hi, In questions where a specified number of responses (state two reasons, support with one justification etc) are required, is it possible to write more than the requested number and get graded for it? I found on this forum that previously it was not possible because there was a sentence on the CFAI L3 Essay Exam Page which stated: “Providing more items or responses than requested. If a question asks for three factors, only the first three that you list will be graded.” https://www.analystforum.com/forums/cfa-forums/cfa-level-iii-forum/91342929 https://www.analystforum.com/forums/cfa-forums/cfa-level-iii-forum/91150555 But now I cannot see this sentence on the essay exam page: https://www.cfainstitute.org/en/programs/cfa/candidate/level-iii-essay-exam Does this mean this rule changed? Thanks,

The rule hasn’t changed.

Think of it this way: if the rule had changed, someone who has no clue might write 23 reasons, hoping that two are (accidentally) correct.
