Any recommendation for a part time PhD in finance program that can be completed within 3 years or 4 years in Switzerland, UK, or France ?
All part-time PhD that are worth their salt will take 6-8 years. I would also suggest to look up the difference between finance and econometric PhD for job prospects. As for schools in Europe I will not have the best advice. However, do consider that most PhD will go into academia and if you go back to industry, there are negative perceptions (ie you weren’t good enough to land a post doc position as your job market papers/research was not good enough).
After Level 2 I had this desire to go deeper and I thought a PhD could satisfy this desire. Moreover, I’m in mid 30s and I’ve been in the investment arena for approximately 14 years and planing to retire from it in 11 years by moving to academia.
