Hi, I am unable to submit the membership application. Two references have submitted. Still it is showing “in progress” for reference. Any idea why? References include CFA holder- have filled up and submitted.
You references have to submit their recommendations. It is in progress because your references have not submitted their write ups. Simply listing a reference does not complete that step in the process. References have to respond back to CFAI with their write ups about you and your abilities to be a charterholder.
The two references have submitted the references. It is showing as Reference submitted in the status. Also i received a confirmation mail as well saying it is submitted

my recollection is that if you do not have a reference from your local CFA society (ie not just any Charterholder) then you need three references. Maybe that is the issue ?
